This project was my very first actual short film project. It's somehow become the heart of everything I've made since, and still holds a special place in my heart.

My film partner Ja'Net Douglas and I made this project for the SkillsUSA State Competition in Digital Cinema Production. The prompt was to make a five minute short film in the style of Christopher Nolan with the theme of emotional resilience, using a key as a prop. Somehow, this five minute short film expanded into a whole universe. We even started filming a new, extended version, but unfortunately didn't get to finish it. However, I am currently working on layering the scenes we did get together, because their just too good not to do anything with.
