The Beauty of Anyway

At It's Core

This project is very close to my heart. It was the first fully faith-based project I got to do.

I attended the Content Christian Media Conference for the first time in September 2025, and got to compete in the Young Content Creators 60 hour film competition. We were assigned to teams of four and given 60 hours to make a 2-4 minute short film. After much discussion, we decided to make a film exploring the fact that here on earth is the only time we have the blessing and ability to praise God through pain. My team consisted of very talented young content creators: Alyssa Martin (Actress, Writer), Elijah Mansfield (Director, Drone Operator), and Joshua Mansfield (Production Assistant, BTS Photographer). Our team name was Vessels. We received the awards for "Best Breakout Production" and "Best Actress: Alyssa Martin."

Although after the conference, I decided I wanted to refine this project, and so I did. I even attempted to score it myself, and write the song for the end, but I still love the original music we used. But down below you will find a link to the version I scored.

Overall, this is one of my favorite projects to date, and I hope it impacts everyone who watches it.

My roles: Director of Photography, Camera Operator, Editor
